Piano Instructors at the Kansas City School of Music are full-time employees. This means that not only do they spend their time in lessons with students, they have the capability to prepare and communicate outside of the lessons. Communication is very important to us; therefore, we are available to answer questions and provide help, whether it is via e-mail, phone, or even extra time in person.

Teachers also spend their non-teaching time preparing for lessons, developing and improving the curriculum and other teaching resources, and creating new music for students. Our instructors are able to go the extra mile to ensure students understand and feel confident in what they are learning.
